Thursday, August 13, 2009 CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. -- The Southeast Missouri State men's and women's basketball teams have been hit with several penalties for NCAA violations. The NCAA announced the penalties Thursday for violations that included impermissible benefits to men's and women's players; the presence of men's coaching staff members during summer strength and conditioning activities; and observation by coaches at offseason pickup games.
