First women's outdoors game to be held

BOSTON -- The Boston College and Boston University men's hockey teams will play outdoors in a doubleheader at Fenway Park on Jan. 8, 2010, a week after the ballpark hosts the NHL's New Year's Day Winter Classic between the Boston Bruins and Philadelphia Flyers. Fenway also will be the host of another unprecedented event -- the first women's college hockey game to be played outdoors.
