Wednesday, August 12, 2009 Top-seeded Duke, Connecticut, LSU and Arizona State will host regionals of the 25th NIT Season Tip-Off. The pairings for the 16-team field were announced Wednesday by the tournament's Selection Committee, which is chaired by C.M. Newton. The regionals will get under way Nov. 16, with the first-round winners meeting the next day. The four regional winners advance to the semifinals on Nov. 25 at New York's Madison Square Garden.
