Monday, August 10, 2009 MONTREAL -- Rafael Nadal returned to competition after two months spent recovering from tendinitis in his knees on Monday, teaming with fellow Spaniard Francisco Roig to win a first-round doubles match 7-5, 6-4 over Novak Djokovic and Dusan Vemic of Serbia at the Rogers Cup. It was the second-ranked Nadal's first tournament since losing in the fourth round of the French Open to Sweden's Robin Soderling.
