Few top picks signed, but deadline drama coming

Monday, Aug. 17 -- the deadline to sign prep players and underclassmen -- is fast approaching. For an updated list of all the signed and unsigned first-rounders, with links to news stories on their signings, click here. We're now one week away from the signing deadline for players selected in the 2009 Rule 4 draft (excepting seniors and players taken from independent ball), with the majority of first-rounders still unsigned and plenty of guys with "signability" issues, who fell to later rounds ...
