LONG BEACH, Calif. -- Area Code Texas Rangers outfielder Kendrick Perkins, a 6-foot-2, 215-pound bulldozer from La Porte (Texas), recently made a verbal commitment to the Texas A&M baseball coaching staff and will forgo his senior year of football.
