Thursday, August 6, 2009 DETROIT -- Forward Jason Williams is returning to Detroit. The Red Wings announced Thursday that Williams has signed a one-year contract. Other terms were not disclosed. The 28-year-old free agent played 233 games with the club between the 2000-2001 season and the 2006-2007 season, posting 49 goals and 67 assists.
