ESPN The Magazine Wednesday, August 5, 2009 Wonder Boy is no longer a boy. On Tuesday, Jeff Gordon turned 38. Yes, the original Young Gun, he of the peach fuzz mustache, he who first showed up in the Winston Cup garage carrying a briefcase that contained nothing but a racing magazine and a Game Boy, is now two years away from being over the hill. Yeah, yeah, 38 doesn't sound so old. He's a year younger than me. But just last week Brett Favre hung 'em up at the self-professed "ancient" age of 39. Over the weekend I watched a Ted Will ...
