Sunday, August 2, 2009 ISTANBUL -- Vera Dushevina of Russia beat Lucie Hradecka of the Czech Republic 6-0, 6-1 in the Istanbul Cup final to win her first WTA title. The fifth-seeded Dushevina defeated the eighth-seeded Hradecka in 41 minutes on Sunday. Dushevina's previous best result was reaching the final in Stockholm in 2008.
