Saturday, August 1, 2009 SENDAI, Japan -- The U.S. softball team avenged its loss to Japan. Stacey Nelson gave up one run and three hits over seven innings Saturday as the United States beat Japan 6-1 in the Japan Cup softball tournament. The game was a rematch of the gold medal game at the Beijing Olympics, which Japan won 3-1.
