Friday, July 31, 2009 NEW YORK -- Sean Green and the New York Mets were on their way to escaping a mess in the eighth inning Friday night when the reliever's control failed him again. Justin Upton scored the go-ahead run on Green's wild pitch and the Arizona Diamondbacks beat New York 3-2 in the opener of a four-game series.
