Friday, July 31, 2009 GSTAAD, Switzerland -- Andreas Beck of Germany reached his first ATP semifinal Friday by defeating Victor Crivoi of Romania 6-4, 7-6 (5) at the Swiss Open. Beck will meet Marcos Daniel of Brazil, with each looking to reach a first career final. The 73rd-ranked Daniel defeated Florent Serra of France 6-4, 7-6 (1) in the quarterfinals.
