ESPNRISE.com Thursday, July 30, 2009 A showdown is brewing between two of the nation's premier high school football programs. The top two teams in the preseason ESPN RISE FAB 50 rankings -- St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) and Byrnes (Duncan, S.C.) -- are slated to meet on Oct. 2 (ESPNU, 8 p.m. ET) in South Florida. If the two squads make it through their early slates unbeaten, it would set up the third showdown in the past 10 years between the No. 1 and No. 2 high school teams.
