Wednesday, July 29, 2009 The Indians' window began closing the night of the fifth game of the 2007 American League Championship Series. They were up 3-1 on the Red Sox, coming off a pounding of the Yankees and 97 regular-season wins. But on that one night all the innings and the wear on CC Sabathia came crashing down around his shoulders.
