Tuesday, July 21, 2009 PORTOROZ, Slovenia -- Second-seeded Anabel Medina Garrigues was ousted by qualifier Vesna Manasieva 6-3, 1-6, 7-5 in the first round of the Slovenia Open on Tuesday. Manasieva came through qualifying for only the second time this year -- after Wimbledon -- for her first win on the main tour since last September. It was the qualifier's 20th birthday. She'll face wild card Petra Martic in the second round. Also advancing was qualifier Ksenia Pervak, who overcame Julia Georges 6-4, 4-6, 6-2. ... Activate your ESPN Profile!
