Tuesday, July 21, 2009 HAMBURG -- Top-seeded Gilles Simon of France was eliminated from the German Open on Tuesday, losing to German wild card Daniel Brands 3-6, 6-4, 6-3 in the second round. Simon lost in the second round as the top-seeded player for the second straight week. The other upset came at the Mercedes Cup in Stuttgart. Ivan Navarro beat fourth-seeded Tommy Robredo 7-5, 7-6 (2) in an all-Spanish match. Another Spaniard, Guillermo Garcia-Lopez, ousted fifth-seeded Stanislas Wawrinka of Switzerland 6-2, 6-4 ...
