Monday, July 20, 2009 PORTOROZ, Slovenia -- Dinara Safina reached the second round of the Slovenia Open on Monday by beating Tadeja Majeric 6-0, 6-4. Safina -- the first No. 1 woman to compete in Portoroz -- was playing her first match since losing in the Wimbledon semifinals to Venus Williams. Majeric, an 18-year-old Slovenian ranked 277th, seemed nervous at the start and won just eight points during the first set.
