Butler, Patriots reach agreement

The New England Patriots continued to reshape their cornerback position on Friday, reaching a four-year agreement with second-round draft pick Darius Butler of Connecticut. The contract, confirmed by Butler's agent and a team offfcial, is worth about $3.9 million, but an annual financial breakdown of the deal was not immediately available.
