In case you've been wondering, the league will release its 2009-10 regular season schedule sometime next week, most likely Wednesday. The highlight will be the official announcement of the third annual Winter Classic, a match expected to be between the Flyers and Bruins at historic Fenway Park. I suspect the league will have a press event in Fenway on Wednesday or Thursday (after MLB's All-Star Game on Tuesday) as a way to kick off its plans for the New Year's Day event.
