Poor Dan Haren. Arizona's staff ace leads the National League with a 2.16 ERA, and he has a mere 8-5 record to show for it. But at least he's headed to the All-Star Game, and fans and the media are sufficiently cognizant of his plight to refer to him as "poor Dan Haren." The same goes for poor Johan Santana, who will take his 9-7 record to St. Louis for his fourth career All-Star appearance.
