Davis earns first win since June 5 as D-backs run win streak to four games

PHOENIX -- Doug Davis finally got something to show for a good outing. The Arizona left-hander earned his first victory in a month and the Diamondbacks matched their season-best four-game winning streak by beating the San Diego Padres 4-3 on Tuesday night. Davis, who had allowed just two earned runs in his previous three starts but left each with a no-decision, scattered nine hits, giving up two runs in 6 1/3 innings.
