Monday, July 6, 2009 BUDAPEST, Hungary -- Sixth-seeded Alona Bondarenko of Ukraine has beaten Karolina Sprem of Croatia 4-6, 7-5, 6-1 in the first round of the GDF Suez Grand Prix in Budapest. Bondarenko broke Sprem's serve at 1-1 in the first set on Monday and later jumped out to a 4-2 lead, but the Croatian came back to win four games in a row.
