Fitzgerald to be assistant to GM

PITTSBURGH -- Tom Fitzgerald is returning to the Pittsburgh Penguins' front office in the newly created position of assistant to general manager Ray Shero. Fitzgerald, a former NHL player, was the team's director of player personnel before becoming an assistant coach after Dan Bylsma replaced Michel Therrien as coach on Feb. 15.
