Sharks re-up with emerging Clowe

Ryane Clowe and the San Jose Sharks have agreed to a four-year contract worth north of $3.5 million a season, a source told ESPN.com Thursday night. The 26-year-old power winger from Newfoundland was a restricted free agent coming off a career-high 22 goals and 52 points in 71 games last season. Clowe was drafted in the sixth round (175th overall) in 2001 by San Jose. Pierre LeBrun covers the NHL for ESPN.com.
