ESPN.com Wednesday, July 1, 2009 We're back to a short schedule Thursday, with only nine games on the agenda. Still, plenty of top pitchers will be in action, with half the 18 scheduled starters sporting an ERA lower than 4.00. Of course, ERA doesn't always tell the whole story. After all, if it did, Doug Davis would be far better than his 3-8 record suggests, based on his 3.28 ERA.
