Here are some things to look for as we head into Thursday, the first day MLB teams can officially sign international prospects. What we know • The Boston Red Sox are big spenders. In the past two weeks, Boston has locked up shortstop Jose Vinicio for $2 million, left-handed pitcher Victor Payano for $900,000 and right-handed pitcher Raul Alcantara for $500,000.
