Reviewing the U.S. performance in South Africa

I'd said before the Confederations Cup final -- in which the U.S. lost to Brazil 3-2 -- that win or lose, it was important for the U.S. to play in a fashion that would prove to the world that its win over Spain was no fluke. And the team did just that. Whatever plaudits are sent the way of Bob Bradley's men after this tournament are more than well deserved. That said, this tournament's display only becomes a watershed moment if the U.S. progresses out of the group stage at next year's World Cup ...
