ESPN.com Sunday, June 28, 2009 The annual free-agent frenzy has begun. But this year, things could get real ugly for free agents. Free-agent dollars are expected to be tight, as the NBA suffers from the worldwide financial crisis. For the first time in a while, the NBA salary cap is projected to stay flat or go up only slightly. Same with the luxury-tax threshold.
