DE Campbell out for 2009 season

Connecticut defensive end Marcus Campbell, a projected starter, will not play for the Huskies this season, the school announced Saturday. Team officials did not give a reason for Campbell's departure, saying only that he would not be enrolled in school this fall. The junior played in 11 games as a reserve in 2008, recording 3.5 sacks.
