Workman replaces Green to start third inning

OMAHA, Neb. -- Texas sophomore Brandon Workman has replaced starting pitcher Cole Green in the top of the third inning in the deciding game of the CWS championship series. The Longhorns trail the Tigers 4-0 after two innings. Green allowed five hits and four earned runs in two innings with no walks and one strikeout. Workman pitched 1 2/3 innings and was the losing pitcher in LSU's 7-6 win in 11 innings in Game 1 on Monday night.
