Wednesday, June 24, 2009 HAYSVILLE, Kan. A Junior Bassmaster competitor has become a top prospect for the Women's Bassmaster Tour. Brande Branine, 17, won the title of Kansas' Junior Bassmaster champion in the 15- to 18-year-olds division by earning the most points in the state's three-tournament youth circuit. The Kansas Highway Patrol (KHP) Reel Deal team member finished third in the tournament at Yates City and won the event at Eureka city lake to earn the state title.
