Nothing spells "taking a flier" like a rookie of the year prediction. I should know: My choice for the American League award, Toronto's Travis Snider, is hitting .258 for Las Vegas in the Pacific Coast League. My National League choice, Cameron Maybin, is tearing it up for the Triple-A New Orleans Zephyrs. Then again, I'm not alone.
