ESPN.com Tuesday, June 23, 2009 The Milwaukee Bucks traded Richard Jefferson to the San Antonio Spurs for Bruce Bowen and Kurt Thomas on Tuesday. The Spurs also sent Fabricio Oberto to the Detroit Pistons for Amir Johnson, who then went to the Bucks. Spurs general manager R.C. Buford said Jefferson brings youth and health along with his high scoring. Jefferson hasn't missed a game the past two seasons and joins a team that has been the oldest in the NBA for several years.
