Former women's champ stands out at CNFR

CASPER, Wyo. — Nikke Steffes from the University of Wyoming is showing the Cowboy State what a cowgirl can do. Steffes won the all-around title at the Casper Events Center in 2007. This year she qualified in barrel racing, goat tying and breakaway roping. She sits at the top of the leader board in goat tying, is sixth in the breakaway roping and even though she won't be among the top twelve in the barrel racing has earned her team 50 valuable points.
