ESPN.com Tuesday, June 9, 2009 Three right-handed pitchers were among four high school prospects selected among the top 10 in the first round of Major League Baseball's 2009 first-year player draft Tuesday. Outfielder Donavan Tate, of Cartersville (Ga.) High was the first, chosen as the third overall pick by the San Diego Padres. Right-handed pitcher Matt Hobgood (Norco, Calif.
