Saturday, June 6, 2009 WASHINGTON -- The New York Mets activated outfielder Ryan Church from the 15-day disabled list after their 7-1 loss to Washington on Saturday night. Church had been sidelined since May 23 with a strained right hamstring. He's hitting .272 with one home run and eight RBIs. To make room on the roster, the Mets designated outfielder Emil Brown for assignment. Brown had his contract selected from Triple-A Buffalo on Wednesday and appeared in three games with New York, including going 1-for-4 again ... Activate your ESPN Profile!
