Friday, June 5, 2009 BATON ROUGE, La. -- It was exactly the kind of inning LSU needed to get itself -- and its fans -- back in the game. Three Rice pitchers threw to 11 LSU batters. The Tigers scored six runs, including a three-run homer, in a slugfest that put LSU up 7-4 heading into the top of the sixth. The Tigers' three errors in the first four innings are a distant memory.
