Smith's solo homer lifts Ole Miss past Virginia

OXFORD, Miss. -- Matt Smith's solo home run in the bottom of the 12th inning gave Mississippi a 4-3 come-from-behind win over Virginia on Friday in a super regional game. Logan Power singled in the tying run in the ninth after an error and a hit batter gave Ole Miss runners on base with no outs. The Rebels (43-18) had been 1 for 9 with runners in scoring position to that point.
