Thursday, June 4, 2009 Over the past 10 MLB drafts, more than 15,000 amateur talents have been selected, and more than 300 came off the board in Round 1. More than half of those 300 are products of the college game, and a handful of programs have produced more first-round picks than the rest of the field. One might imagine that traditional powerhouses, such as Southern California and Wichita State, would be right there at the top, but that's not the case.
