ARLINGTON, Texas -- Andruw Jones was pretty sure his eighth-inning drive was going foul. He was happy he was wrong. Jones hit a tiebreaking two-run homer in the eighth and the Texas Rangers beat the Oakland Athletics 6-3 Friday in the first game of a doubleheader. In the second game, Scott Feldman scattered five hits over six sharp innings in Texas' 5-2 win to seal the doubleheader sweep.
