Idonije signs extension

Busy day for the Bears at Halas Hall as the team has signed defensive linemen Israel Idonije to a two-year contract extension, locking up the versatile player through 2011. According to Idonije's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, the deal includes $7 million in new money, with $3 million in guarantees.
