Hallsville making most of second chance

Of the 80 teams still alive in Texas' UIL baseball playoffs, none has experienced as wild a ride as the Class 4A Hallsville Bobcats. With one game remaining in the regular season, they'd clinched a spot among District 13's four playoff teams. But Hallsville was judged guilty of using an ineligible player by its district executive committee and forced to forfeit enough games that would bump it below fourth place.
