Raiders sign free agent Davis

The Oakland Raiders on Thursday night signed unrestricted free-agent strong safety Keith Davis, a six-year veteran who was a standout special teams player for the Dallas Cowboys. Contract details were not immediately available. Davis, 30, appeared in 84 games for the Cowboys, with 31 starts. His primary value, however, was as a special teams coverage player.
