The Diamondbacks continue to lose game after game after game, and the timing could not be worse for new manager A.J. Hinch, who had his first confrontation with a player -- pitcher Doug Davis -- on Friday night, Nick Piecoro writes. Because he has never coached or managed at any level, there inevitably will be questions in some corners of the Arizona clubhouse about whether Hinch is capable of handling the job -- and as long as the Diamondbacks struggle, those questions and doubts will fester. ...
