JESSICA VARADY LIVERMORE  SOFTBALL Varady is one of the best pitchers in the East Bay, and she can do damage with the bat as well. In a 1-0 win over San Ramon Valley on March 25, the senior pitched a shutout and also knocked in Livermore's only run with a third-inning single. In a 6-1 win over Amador Valley a week later, Varady allowed just three hits to improve to 4-0 on the season.
