BOYS' TEAM OF THE YEAR PERSHING Basketball The best team in Class A never stumbled, never fell, and earned a state championship as a result. Led by Michigan Mr. Basketball winner Derrick Nix, a senior Michigan State recruit, Pershing finished the season 26-1 and claimed the Class A title with a 90-73 win over Kalamazoo Central.
