Fewer undrafted free agents on rosters

Teams continue to be prudent about signing undrafted free agents. So far, 30 teams have revealed their lists of undrafted free agents, and the average per team has been around 12. That's not a lot. Most teams used to sign 20 to 25 undrafted players on the Sunday after the draft. This year, the Carolina Panthers have been the only team to sign more than 20. They have 21.
