We hardly talked about the Denver Nuggets all season, even as they won 54 games and finished with the second-best record in the Western Conference. We looked to other teams -- San Antonio, Utah, Portland, even New Orleans -- as potential foils for the Lakers' dynasty and never gave the Nuggets a second look.
