ESPN.com Sunday, May 3, 2009 Two-year veteran quarterback John Beck, released by the Miami Dolphins last week, has reached an agreement with the Baltimore Ravens on a one-year contract. With the Ravens, Beck will compete with veterans Troy Smith and Todd Bouman for the No. 2 quarterback job behind starter Joe Flacco. The Heisman Trophy winner in 2006, Smith is a two-year veteran selected by the Ravens in the fifth round of the 2007 draft.
