ESPNOutdoors.com Thursday, April 23, 2009 A bill is about to be introduced into the California Assembly (AB 1253) to change the striped bass, which was introduced into the San Francisco Bay estuary from the East Coast 1879, from a game species to a non-game species. This would make it open season for people to catch as many stripers as they want, whenever and wherever they can, like carp.
